Martha Jane Morgan McGinnis Lamborn-Mother of Sarah, Josiah & Thomas
Posted by: Country Gal (ID *****2228) Date: March 11, 2009 at 08:04:12

Looking for info on Martha Jane Morgan McGinnis Lamborn.

Info I have was she was the Mother of Joseph Mcginnis, born 4-4-1792.

She was the 2nd wife of Samuel Lamborn, who was born in Chester, PA 4-4-1769. He was a farmer in Ohio & died in 1815. Samuel had 3 children by his first wife, Ann Chalfant. Samuel & Martha had 3 children, the first, Josiah, was born in PA 1-31-1809. Thomas was born 1-9-1811, I have no birthplace. Sarah was born 9-20-1812 in Millevillle, Butler Co., OH.

I have no birthdate, place or parents on Martha or death date or place. Have no dates of her marriages, 1st presumed to be to a mcGinnis & 2nd to Samuel Lamborn.

I have no exact death date or place for Samuel Lamborn. It is noted he moved to Cincinati, OH in 1811, thence to Washington Co., KY.

The info I have comes from a family genealogy book. However in my internet research, have found Joseph Mcginnis' Mother listed as Sarah Mary Clark in a couple of locations.

On the LDS site, the The Mother of Josiah, Thomas & Sarah is either listed as Miss Mcginnis or Mrs. Samuel Lamborn, with no further info on her.

Thanks for any help.
