Dale,
Wonderful! I have been looking for any proof of when/ where Alice Williams came over and more interestingly - Why. I have a family story that she came over for her health, fell in Love with Chester and never went home again. Chester Carter Lamborn was a gardener for the Vorhees family in 1917 and I looked up pictures of that estate. Where can i find the information you have about Alice's arrival? Mabel is my grandmother and I knew her well. She never spoke of her grandparents. This is confusing because if William Henry is her grandfather he would have been alive in 1926. There is stories of visits out to the farmers in Chester County.
I really appreciate how much you have found so far.
Lisa
