Hi Roger,
I am a Lamborn with no "E". everyone tries to attach one, but alas, no. I have found by tracing my family that it seems they came to America via the Phila. area, then branched out. You might want to look in that direction and see if it helps you. I can be reached at: Drop me a line if it helps. Just remember that most immigrants took there name either from the village they came from or, the occupation they had.
