SUSANNA LAMBORN Jefferson/Harrison Cos/OH
Posted by: Bill Reed Date: December 19, 2001 at 18:59:01
  of 193

Searching for info on Susanna who married David Frazier and produced Margaret Frazier in 1831 who subsequently married Samuel Merryman and produced my paternal grandmother Martha Margaret Merryman Reed. All of this occured in Wayne Township/Jefferson County close to the common border of the two counties.
In perusing this forum I have noticed that some of the LAMBORNs were Quakers. The southern part of Jefferson County had Quaker settlements in the Smithfield and Mount Pleasant townships adjacent to Wayne . In fact a preserved historical meeting house still exists in the town of Mount Pleasant. This area up through Richmond, where I live, was very active in the "Underground Railroad" run by the Quakers and the road I travel to Wayne Township is called Quaker Ridge Road.

In forum no 26, page 1, there is mention of Smedly LAMBORN the son of George and Mary of Jefferson Co. OH.

Could my Susanna be the daughter or granddaughter of George and Mary. Please let me know. Thank you. Bill Reed, Richmond, OH.
