Bonjour, Normand,
I have a family tree done on my father's family De la Mothe( now La Motte); however, in the middle of the 1600s( time period) it tells me to look at De La Mothe, Foissard, Bourbon, Dubois, Guerin, Coirier, Sylvestre, and Colson Family lines in France. These lines may help you too. Lots of connections,but where to get the actual material. I am really amazed how much there is on the net. I looked up De la Mothe--Bourbon and got a book of information. By the way, my father's name is Norman Francis La Motte. leroy.lamotte@eu.dodea.edu
