There was a Francois Laroche in Cap-Sante, but he was born in France in 1669, and died in Cap-Sante in 1741.
He married Marie-Francois Matte, 1695 in Neuville.

They had several children. See:

There were several other Laroche families in Cap-Sante, but all of the ones with a Francois that I found
were born much earlier than 1835.

I really don't research the Laroche families unless I happen across one who married into one of my own lines,
so I'm afraid that's about all I can offer.
