Well actually they are related.. Patrick and Elizabeth had to apply to the church to get married and were granted a third degree (not sure how to translate that) But in essence in order to be granted a third degree you must first be related..which means in all probability that Leandre and Joachim are brothers or first cousins. The only problem I am running into is that Leandre was in Quebec before 1851 as he married Sophie back then..
The other thing that baffles me is the Jeanvaine part that Leandre keeps having put on his name..perhaps they had different mothers or fathers? and are 1/2 siblings?
So now it's to find out HOW the two are related, their parentage and so forth.
Ps:
I am curious though why you put the LC in front of Leandres name?
