STEPHEN EDGAR LAMOTHE - TEXAS
Posted by: Robert Davis (ID *****3219) Date: September 13, 2011 at 21:50:37
  of 424

Looking for additional info on Stephen Edgar LAMOTHE (b. 1850 d. 1910) and/or any of his brothers and allied family members. S.E.L. was also known as "Tip" or "Tippet" LAMOTHE.

Stephens father was Samuel Valcient LAMOTHE; mother Nancy S. STUBBLEFIELD m. 1842

S.V.L emigrated to Texas from Rapides Parrish, LA ca 1836-38.

S.V.L. died in 1861 when "Tip" was 10yo. "Tip" was sent to live P.M. Cuny, his paternal uncle. After that, very little is known about him until he married my Ggr-mother Mae Ellen SHOEMAKE.

Would like to know more about his life from 1861 on.

Thanks,
Robert H. "Bob" Davis
Corpus Christi, TX
