Hi Lorna, You had indicated that Hormidas was buried at Precious-Blood Cemetery, in Warwick, RI, so I checked repertoires of several funeral homes in that area, and BINGO! The burial record, from the "Joseph Lauzon & Brothers Funeral Home of Woonsocket, RI" indicates his wife as Marie Parenteau and his parents as Olivier Lamothe and Elisa Théroux. From there I checked the Blue Drouin, and found the marriage of Olivier & Elisa as 28 Sept. 1868 at St-Robert, Richelieu, Quebec. This Olivier was the son of Olivier Lamothe (Michel Lamothe & Thérèse Lavallée) & Emélie Parenteau (Francois Parenteau & Marguerite Petit), who married 27 Aug 1844 at St-Aimé, Richelieu, Quebec. According to the Blue Drouin, Elisa Théroux was the widow of Isidore Boiteau, did not search further for her parents at this time. I already had told you that I had Olivier and Emélie Parenteau in my file, and just want to let you know that I have the Lamothe ancestry back to France, as I am a descendant of Michel's brother Paul & his spouse, Thérèse Lussier. Michel & my Paul are sons of Paul-Sylvestre Lamothe-dit-Laramée and Elisabeth Auger. I have not yet found the marriage of Hormidas and Marie Parenteau, quite possibly they married in RI., but I can send you, by e-mail attachment, a seven (7) page Ahnentafel on Hormidas, back to France, if you wish. Regards, Linnie
