HIAmy, My Louis Lamoureaux came to Quebec in 1600's went back to Normandy to get his bride Francoise Boivin. Settled and farmed and raised lots of children. He had a grandson named Charles by his son Adrien. Whe n the descendents emigrated to Lynn Massachusetts the name changed to Adrien and that is my Mothers' maiden name. My grandfather died carrying that name , but he was born Lamoureaux in Canada. Actually the family used the whole name, "Adrien dit Lamoureaux" until they came to the states.
My papers are currently packed but I would be happy to give you the "begats" from LOuie and Frances. I don't remember a mention of Louie having a brother in the papares I have.
Joanne B.
