update: Son of Shubal and Elizabeth [Dewes] Lamphire, LEVI [1800]was born in VERMONT. LEVI married first Sally Flowers and second widow CELIA PETERS perhaps in Toledo, Lucas Co., OHIO. Reuben and Charles Henry Lamphier were born to Sally and Levi in Vermont or Toledo, OH.

LEVI lived in Michigan in 1850 with the family later moving to Glencoe County, Minnesota, about 1870. Charles Henry is listed as living in Michigan in 1850 but was at someone else's house [Doty] when the Census was taken.

Later on Charles Henry, MARY JANE LAMPHIER and LEVI move to Rich Valley, McLeod County, Minnesota, and lived near Reuben's family. Charles Henry Lamphier married Wyona Wakefield. They lived in Becker County, Minnesota, where they had a farm.

MARY JANE LAMPHIER, youngest daughter, was born in Bedford Twp., Michigan, daughter of Celia and Levi. She later married in Minnesota to Thomas McFadden.
