Dear jack:
thank you for your reply.
Honestly ,I don't. the friend I am helping, only told me that somehow, this leads to her late husband and his family:
Richard Blanchard Williams, born may 25,1925 in Hollygrove,AL,died Oct. 7, 1964 CA.
His grandparents or parents were: Carrie Elizabeth Welch and Richard Leroy Williams.
The problem is, this friend is in her 80's, so i tried to confirm what she told me. All I have been able to confirm is that her husband did have an SSN but the Soc. sec. Death Index does not list where he was born, and no information on where he died, just the SSN, dates of birth and death, and that he got his SSN in Oregon before 1951(friend says he was working for the CCC during the depression.this does not at all sound like her husband.
I am wondering if her mind is operating on less than 4 wheels.
