From the Lake County Indiana Lamphier Clan
Some call us the lost or missing ones so here goes with what I know. Lamphiers from Crown Point, Lake County, Indiana. What is here is basically my direct line. We are directly related to Lamphiers in Iowa, namely those of Cordelia, Laymon, Levi Lamphier. Other families we are closely related are Mccubbins, and Willis.

Many of this family have travelled extensively. All men served in the military. Dorthey married a soldier. We continue to travel to Crown Point for a Walton reunion but wish it included a lamphier reunion as well. We would be interested to hear if a reunion exists. We love family and love to travel. On a historical note: The earlier Lamphiers of this clan were a quarrelsome lot. Mostly amongst themselves. Maybe explains why they were left behind. The decendants of this clan however are quite affable and loving. We hope that this message finds searching eyes and hearts for family that wants to be found
