I descend from James Mason Harrison and Elizabeth (Betsy) Lampkins through their son William Henry Harrison. The parents of James Mason Harrison are unknown to me, so I am interested in your information that John Harrison and Sarah Daniels are his parents. I have found clues that James Mason's father was James Harrison whose descendants moved to Illinois and clues that James Mason's father was Col. Benjamin Harrison of Virginia who married Elizabeth Bassett. These clues are amazingly tangled and no documents have been found for either of these claims, so I am interested in your sources.
Do you know where Betsy/Betty Lampkins is buried? She died in 1840 in Overton County, Tennessee, most likely in an area that is now in Pickett County, Tennessee. Many of the family are buried in the Harrison Family Cemetery, but I don't know where she is buried.
