Thanks for contacting me.
Some of the information I have on the James Mason Harrison parents came from Latter Day Saints stating his parents as John Harrison, and Sarah Daniels. In 1999 I received a response that James Mason Harrison was his 4 great grandfather of the person who responed to m. Stated in the Rev. War pension application born in Calvert Co. MD 1742 moved to Va with his parents. He says that one family history states James's father was John Harrison, grandfather was William Harrison and two previous generations were Richard Harrison Jr. and Sr.
The 1733 tax bill (on line) includes Henry's and Willam Harrison as well as Widow Harrison. They could be relatives of James.
Another contact says his War records are at the National Archives under Revoluary War Records.
James Mason Harrison's is buried just over the line in Kentucky. The graves were flooded and the grave site had to be moved. He was originally burried in Overton, TN.
I don't know where Betty is buried. My guess would be with him , but have no proff.
My confusion is how my grandfather's brother is not related to him at all but of James Harrison line. Hope this helps , Ilva
