you might be onto something. i believe william's father was william lancaster - listed in 1777 tax records of dutchess county. He was the ONLY lancaster in the county at that time. He very well be from eastchester. trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together. William Sr. had to be born about 1740's. Does he fit with anyone you know?
