Hi There,

My Cardinal family came from Massachusetts and Connectcut but I can't seem to find out how they got there from Canada. I know they came from France originally but all history seems lost to my Dad. Here is what I know:

Albert Arthur Cardinal (My paternal grandfather) was born March 30, 1902 in Plainfield Connecticut. His father Alderic Cardinal was born in February 1873 in Massachusetts (as per the 1900 US federal census). Sometime after 1902 this family moved to Southwestern Ontario however their cousins remained in Massachusetts and Connecticut areas. I have some other details regarding Albert's siblings (Leon, Yvonne, Sylva, Eva) but I can not find Alderic's Father or Mother.

Please let me know if you have any connections to these names.

Thank You
