My grandfather was Aaron Landau. He was born in 1864. Family lore says he was either born or raised in England. One of his sons (my mother's brother) was named Barnet, and we could never figure out where that name came from. I have no idea what my grandfather's parents names were, but they would most probably have come from Poland. My grandfather, when he came to America, designed and made ladies' coats and suits.

Any connections that you know of?
