Hello, Pamela.I saw a similar message on another site yesterday, so this follow-up is going to be the same info as I posted there. You're my third cousin. Our great-great-grandparents were (Johann) Carl Ludwig LANDGRAF (26 Oct 1842, Goslar, Germany – 31 Jan 1921, Elgin, IL) and Charlotte Jeannette Françoise Frederique SCHEVERS (17 Jun 1845, Tiel, Netherlands – 25 Jul 1925, Elgin, IL).They had six children.I am descended from their oldest child, John Charles “J.C.” LANDGRAF (1869-1924).I also have some info about their parents and grandparents in Germany and the Netherlands.I will try to write up more of this info in the coming weeks.Below I have typed out the obituaries of our great-great-grandparents and your great-grandparents and the marriage notice of your great-grandparents, all from Elgin, Illinois.
