Marlene, Thanks for the quick reply. I know very little on my great-grandmother's mother. All I know is what came from a the funeral parlor that she had her wake at. The Funeral Parlor was Parker-White Funeral Home in Ware Shoals, South Carolina. The only info that they had was that her father was McDuffy Prince and her mother's last name was Lanford. they did not have a first name for her. They said they were both from Spartenburg County, South Carolina. I am pretty sure that McDuffy Prince was born in 1860 and died around 1922. Since he remarried by 1890, I would assume that my great-great grandmother Lanford died around 1886. That is all I know. I would appreciate any help. Thanks, Jeff Kahler
