The Langille Family Tree
Compiled by Ann McGivery Jan 1999 Revised Feb 2008
Some other forms of the Langille family name are Langel, Lengyel, and Languilles. The Languilles lived in Scotland and moved to Norolk County, England. By ca. 1500 they fled from Scotland during the reign of Bloody Mary to Central Europe. Family legends have been told of 2 brothers coming from Germany or 6 brothers from Switzerland, or 4 brothers from France.
