Hi! thanks for answering.I do know the names of John Lanigan's children, however there is one hitch. John Lanigan, good Irish Catholic that he was married my Great Grandmother, who was a firmly committed Methodist! I doubt therefore that any of the children were baptised at St. John the Baptist Church! But I am reasonably sure that John had brother's and their children were likely raised as Roman Catholics. John's children were Mary Estelle (my Grandmother) Clarissa, Harriet, William and Elizabeth, who died in 1901, aged 3 years. They did all live in and around Manayunk, so it is likely a lead worth pursuing. Thanks! Let me know if you learn more.
Susan
