Brendan, Could your James Lanigan have immigrated to the USA later, or could there be a sister to your Sara & John? My great-grandmother was Mary Ann Lanigan (Lonergan) and her father was James. She was b. Sept. 1867 and immigrated to the USA about 1884. I don't know if her dad immigrated or not? There were some other siblings who I found in church records in Pottstown, PA in the 1880's. There was an Elizabeth, Ann, Margaret and I believe a John. I can't seem to put my hand on my paper, I'll have to look for it. If anything sounds probable, please get back to me...Thanks, Pat
