Hello there - I am interested in any
information whatsoever about the Lanigan's.
Big problem - For the past 10 years I have
discovered nothing - Sometimes I reflect -
and conclude it's a conspiracy to keep
me in the dark !!.Here is what I know of
my branch of the family - Alfred was my
father - his father was Thomas - He was
a labourer in a shipyard in Jarrow-on-Tyne
-born about 1856 - He was a widower - therefore married twice - His second wife
was called Ellis - Hence my fathers name
Alfred Ellis Lanigan - Its all a huge
mystery as non of my family knows anything -
I visited each & everyone,but they all
knew nothing - Strange is'nt it that you
can't remember your father
