Lanigan's in Australia

Searching for my Grandfather's family in NSW and Qld, Australia; I've yet to find a living descendant of these people.

John G LANIGAN, born abt. 1859 , died 28 June 1921 Ipswich, Qld  Australia
Son of Thomas LANIGAN (born circa. 1835) & Catherine TROY

John married Bridget/Delia Catherine/Kate BURKE/BOURKE, born abt. 1866 at Ballinasloe, Co. Galway IRE, died 4 May 1939 Ipswich, Qld (daughter of Bridget KEOGH & Martin BURKE)
Marriage listed as Bridget C BURKE and John LONICAN (NSW 7122/1883)(yet to be confirmed as correct one!).
    Married 1883 at Tenterfield, NSW.
According to death cert; she arrived in Australia 1882/3 from Ireland.

Children:
Catherine Christina LANIGAN, b. 1884 Tenterfield NSW, d. 9 May 1942 Qld, M. John Joseph MURPHY, 22 June 1910 Qld
   Delia Louise/a LANIGAN, b. 13 April 1885 Qld, d. 31 August 1923 Qld m. Percy Alfred BEVERTON, 4 September 1915 Brisbane, Qld,
Margaret Theresa LANIGAN, b. 20 July 1886 Qld
John Troy LANIGAN, b. 27 August 1889 Qld, d. 26 April 1918 France (WW1)
  Thomas .2 LANIGAN, b. 19 August 1891 Qld, d. circa 1892
Mary Bridget LANIGAN, b. 22 December 1892 Qld, d. 5 January 1935 Brisbane, Qld, m. Cyril Hubert MITCHELL, 27 November 1924 Brisbane, Qld
   Agnes Amelia LANIGAN, b. 22 December 1895 Qld, d. 25 June 1952 Ipswich, Qld, m. Mr ..... RADCLIFFE, ca. 1920
Annie Josephine LANIGAN, b. 23 December 1899 Brisbane, Qld

Daughter Mary Bridget (my grandfather's mother) poses questions; for although she didn't die until 1935, the family regarded her as such from after granfather Ray's birth (1918, was raised by his maternal grandparents- father unknown). Whether this was a chance to restart her life or reprisal for the shame bought on the family is purely speculation at this stage.
According to family memories, the surname BROCK is somehow associated with Delia's sister????.

If anyone can shed some light on this family, I would be deeply appreciative.
