Sorry I spelled Bernardasci wrong. Both Lanini and Bernardasci are very common names found when researching Ticino ancestors. I have Lanini ancestors from a couple lines, but so far have not been able to connect them up. The only Lucia Lanini was born abt. 1790 and I don't know who she married. The only Lanini female that married a Bernardasci was a Caterina who died in 1841. Most were given a first and middle name and may have been know by either. Let me know anything else you know about your Ticino ancestors and I'll see if I can find a match.
