Sorry to be so late on a follow up. I have had a few system crashes since my last post.
I am sure Peggy has got you filled in by now.
Jefferson (Jeff)Davis Lansdale was b. ca. 1861 in Hinds Co. MS about 18 miles out of Jackson, MS. He is the son of Isaac C. Lansdale m. Bashaby ____. Isaac C. is the son of John Lansdale m. Julia Ann Hardy. and John is son of Isaac Lansdale of Delaware. Unfortunately there is no prime source proof of much of this line. Jefferson Davis McClain M. Mary E. McClain in 27 Aug. 1891 in Bradley Co. Ark. ( Bradly Co. Ark. Marriage Records Vol. C pg. 342w) Mary was the Daughter of David Decial McClain m. Juriah Catherine Gardner. and the granddaughter of Samuel McClain m. Elinora Godfrey)
Jeff and Mary had 8 Children:
1. Floyd Andrew Lansdale m. Myrtle Smith.
2. Isaac (Ike) Dee Lansdale m. Mary Jane Wiley
3. Alonzo (Lonnie) Jeff Lansdale m. Judy Jones.
4. Lester Larmer Lansdale m. Pauline Barnes.
5. Anna Catherine Lansdale m. Holderess Turner.
6. Ethel Blance Lansdale M1. ____ Russell, M2. Paul Merritt.
7. Myrtle Emma Lansdale M. Joe Stell.
8. Rodessia (Dessia) Lansdale M. Harry White.
