Hi Rebecca
Abram (Abraham) Lansdell (Lansdale) appears to have been in Pickens Co. SC in 1830 and in MS by 1838. He is recorded in Tippah Co. MS. in 1850 and 1860. Along with a possible brother Aaron Lansdell.
Abram and Aaron appear to be the sons of Hezekiah (Ezekiah) Lansdale (Lansdell) Hezekiah was in Pendleton Co. SC in 1810 age 26-45.
He appears on the muster rolls of SC for the war of 1812.
He recieved 580 acres on Armstongs Creek in Abbeville District Sc. on 19 Jan. 1813.
1820 Abbeville Co. SC Census as over 45.
1830 Pickens Co. SC. 50-60
1840 Benton Co. AL 60-70.
The little research I have done on this family indicates there may have been at least 9 children born to Hezekiah.
I do not know who is wife or wives were. He is often associated with Isaac Lansdale b. 1760 as an older son. I have no proof of that connection at the moment. Would love to know more about him.
Hope that gives you some new ground to cover.
