Lantrip Surname DNA Group project?

Hello Lantrip cousins,
Is anyone here interested in starting a Lantrip Surname DNA Group project? I have several Lantrip cousins on my maternal side. Family legend says there is indian blood in the Lantrip lines. DNA testing could determine if that is true, as well as answer several other questions about Lantrip Family heritage, history, and genealogy.

I currently am an administrator of the Milam Family DNA project at, and I feel strongly much can be learned about Lantrip Family heritage, history, and genealogy through DNA testing.

The science of Y-DNA surname testing requires that Y-DNA testers be living males with the surname Lantrip. I will pay for testing of one Lantrip cousin from my branch of the family. Are there any others who will volunteer to do the same? We need a minimum of 2 testers to get the project rolling. The more the better.
