Hi, I think we are connected somewhere!! I have just started tracing my family tree. My maiden name was Lape, Father, James Williard Lape, son of James Franklin Lape.son of AAron Lape who married Catharine J. Younkins. My dad said Aron was in the calvery in the Civil War and was injured at the battle of Gettyburg. He believed he lost an eye in that battle. I was born in Connellsville, Pa.Oct.23,1934 ,my dad was born in Casselman,Pa May 2.1915.My grandfather James Franklin Sept. 5 1889 , had three sisters and One brother, Lee Lape who Married Anna ??? We think Aaron's father was Jacob Lape, (spouse unknown) and his father was George Lape who married Susan Lint. If you think you can help fill in the blanks I would appreciate it. Judy
