Hi Herb,
Seeking to prove my LAPPEUS, LAPPIUS, LAPEOUS, LAPES, LAPE or LAPPEOUS family on my father's side.

1st generation:
Willem or William LAPPEUS b. Holland m. Alida Van DEUSEN and lived in West Sand Lake, Rensselaer Co., New York.

2nd generation:
1) Magdalena LAPPEUS b. 21 July 1788 W. Sand Lake, Rensselaer, NY, married Barent GOEWEY, and she d. 1825 [possibly my ancestors].
2) Elizabeth LAPEUS baptized 22 Aug. 1796 Dutch Reformed Church Wynantskill, Rensselaer Co., NY,
3) Christina LAPPEUS baptized 2 Aug. 1790 Dutch Reformed Church Wynantskill, Rensselaer Co., NY,
4) Peter LAPPEUS b. 1807.
