Seeking information on Louisa LAPE Ashley born possibly in Ohio and said to be part Cherokee. She died in Indiana. She and her husband, William Ashley, had a son William Ervin Ashley born c 1866 in Illinois or Ohio. He married Rachel Bell Howard born 14 Nov 1869 in Rockford/Danville, Illinois.
