Royal Larabee emigrated to Ontario

I have just discovered this forum. I am doing a lot of work on the Larabee's (and Laraby's) in Ontario, who originally emigrated from the US. Royal Larabee moved here sometime in the late 1700's or early 1800's, married to Catherine Baker, a relative of Colonel Baker from Pennsylvania. The story of the original Larabees owning some kind of shipping business and thereby coming to settle here goes a long way back. I am thinking to that Greenfield Larabee (a mariner!) may be the ultimate link to the Canadian Larabee's as well. I would appreciate copies of information from anyone on the Larabees in the US. My email is I also would be happy to share information on the Larabee's in Ontario, dating back to the late 1700's.
