Hi Tanya,

My gggrandfather, Jesse J. Lard & some of his brothers, came to LA from SC around 1851/1852. One of his brothers was a William Lard. They settled in Brushvalley, Bienville Parish, LA. One of Jesse's sons George Washington Lard was my ggrandfather.
