John Lard of South Carolina, St. Louis & Illinois & Family

Thought you might be interested in my John Lard who has the same name is a contemporary and similary geographic roots as your John Lard.
Mine was born Feb 12, 1792 near Charleston, SC

John Lard first moved to KY b/w 1793 and 1807 with his parents. then moved to St. Louis in 1807 to visit an uncle.
Married his first spouse Lydia Todd in St. Louis in 1812.
Had at least one child Josiah Lard 5/12/1819 who later married Jemima Crowder. Lydia Todd Lard died in Feb, 1824 in St. Louis.

John Lard then moved to Wayne Co., IL about 1825 where he married his 2nd wife Elizabeth Kelly b/w 1725 and 1730.

They moved back to St. Louis in 1830 and then fianlly to Sangamon County, IL in 1834 where he purchased 80 acres in Ball Twp. just NE of Springfield.

John Lard & Elizabeth Kelly Lard had the following children
Cynthia A. Lard (bef. 1834)
Thomas K. Lard (1834)
Amelia Lard (bet. 1835-1840)
Robert T. Lard (bet 1836-1841)
Mahala Lard (1842)--my wife's ancestor
Hezekiak Lard (after 1842)

John Lard died in Ball Twp. 11/16/1845
Elizabeth Kelly lard died in Ball Twp. 2/9/1843
