I am looking for additional information on the life & family of Harriet Tyler Jackson Larkin[s]What has been found so far follows below.
1.Harriet Tyler was born c 1802 in NY state, location unknown.
2.She apparently married John Jackson [family background & ancestry unknown] c 1821/22 and they were parents of at least one son, named John S. Jackson, born 24 October, 1823 in Rochester, NY.Also identified on John S. Jackson’s death certificate was the maiden name of his mother, Harriet Tyler.
3.In the Wisconsin Census of 1850 John S. Jackson & his wife, Caroline E. & family were living inTown of Hebron, Jefferson County, WI.By 1855 they settled in the town of Half Moon, Eau Claire Co., Wi where he was a farmer & nurserymanuntil his death in 1910.
3.In the census of 1870 Harriet Larkin, age 66, is included as a member of John S. Jackson's family.Harriet E. died in 1874 and is buried with other members of this Jackson family in Lakeview Cemetery, Eau Claire.She is identified as Gr-Mother, while JohnS. Jackson and his wife, Caroline are identified as Father & Mother, respectively.
4.In the 1850 census,Harriet Larkins, age 48, born in New York,was located in the town ofHenderson, Jefferson Co., New York, the wife of Stephen Larkins,with three children:Ann S., 16, Vincent, 15, and Newell, 4.Stephen Larkins family were in the same location in 1860.In 1870, Stephen was living with the family of his son, Vincent, in Adams, Jefferson Co., NY.
