Pauline,
Happy New Year to you and your family. My apologises for being a bit tardy and not responding until now.
To my knowledge, Marie Kekijcakoe's children were as follows:
Angelique (abt 1813 - ?)
Denis (abt 1814 - 1883)
Marie (abt 1816 - ?)
Touissant (abt 1819 - 1904)
Euphrosim (abt 1821 - ?)
Anne (abt 1823 - 1847)
Francois (abt 1825 - ?)
Elizabeth (abt 1827 - 1878)
Charles (abt 1829 - ?)
Eustache (abt 1830 - ?)
Louis (abt 1833 - 1911)
Paul (abt 1836 - ?)
Susanna (abt 1838 - ?)
Note. I am unsure whether Toussaint and Marie were married prior to this rehabilitation. If they were then it appears that it could not have been in a Catholic setting as Marie was baptized, a requirement for a Catholic marriage, just prior to this "rehabiliation" on August 28th at age 45 years. They were granted permission to have their marriage rehabilitated by way of a letter signed by the Montseiguer of Montreal dated May 18, 1838. In the record of this marriage it is quoted as Toussaint being a farmer and that Marie was "cousine germaine" to him, that is related through marriage, and could mean that they were in fact first cousins. Also in this church entry it mentions that Marie bore 14 children. Since only 13 are mentioned in the rehabilitation it must be assumed that one un-named child had child prior to 1838.
On March 18th, 1864 a Eustache Laronde died at 80 years of age, putting his birth abt 1784. This could have been a brother of Toussaint's?
Toussaint was born about 1783.
Marie was baptized on August 28, 1838 (Fort Coulonge, Pontiac County, Quebec).
Marie's marriage was "rehabiliated" in the RC church in Fort Coulonge on August 2, 1838.
Cheers,
Don
