I also have a Lars Larson in my family as well. After reading your message and the reply by Ron Hornback I find that perhaps I may have a tiny piece to "the puzzle."
In my own search I found an offical birth certificate of the birth of my GGGrandfather. I put this information together with family accounts by my Grandfather, and this piece seems to fit.
I found a copy of the birth certificate of John David Larson(my GGGrandfather) who is the son of Lars Johan Larson(21 year-old)and Christina Charlotte (Charlotta)[Person] Larson(22 year-old)in Chester,CT on 9-13-1871. Christina is buried in Portland,CT (Died 1883.)Both Lars and Christina came from Sweden. My Grandfather Ernest L.Larson passed away on February 9,1984; He is buried next to his beloved GGrandmother.
Thank you to you all, and I to am searching(Fulfilling a promise made to my grandfather) for my family. Keep your eyes open; I'll be writing more soon after more research. Most of the Larsons around here are not related to me.I do know I do have some Larson relatives near by.
Please feel free to contact me at [email protected], or write me at 77 Rose Hill Road, Portland, CT 06480.
Sincerly,
Julie Ann Larson, Daughter of John David ["DAVE," "J. David," and/or "J.D."] Larson.
PS- Both my GGGrandfather and my GGrandfather were named John David Larson. They both went by the name of "John." I don't mean to confuse anyone, but that's it.
