Johanna Larson b: 6-4-1868 -- Help please.

Went to the DDSS to look up Johanna Larson born 6-4-1868 Jonstorps forsamling. I found a Johanna born in Jonstorps on that date but Father's name was listed as Lars Olsson. I have read in a few places that Swedish names are given differently. Is it possible that this is the correct record or are surnames in Sweden the same as ours here in the US in that a daughter or a son has the same last name as the father?
