St. Charles (Kane County, Illinois) Chronicle, April 20, 1955, The Editor's Doghouse. At the city dinner Thursday night, Alderman Carl T. Larson stated what when he first acted as alderman back in the late 1920's and early 1930's, that council meetings often did not break up until 4:00 a.m. in the morning.
