Clarence Gabriel Klopp was my ex-husband's grandfather. I had the honor of getting to know him after we married, but he & Grandma both passed away less than a year later. He communicated with a cousin, Oddmund Ravneberg, in Norway & who you are probably related to as well.

The line of descent is as follows: Clarence Gabriel Klopp & Mirren Douglas Lockwood > Mirren Lockwood Klopp & Richard Curtis Washburn > Richard Curtis Washburn Jr & Donna Lee Townsend (me). We have 2 daughters (Susan Campbell Washburn & Kimberly Elizabeth Washburn).

What I have on Ole Anton Klopp is currently buried in a pile of papers (I just moved 3 months ago). I even have several pictures that I will dig out & share with you (tombstones, census records & even one somewhere of Ole & Clara on their wedding day).

I'm so glad to have another cousin (in-law) to share information with. Feel free to email me directly (
