Is Frances a male or female. If male, this is the right age to be the father of my orphan. I have an Edward Frank who was born in 1852 and orphaned in Alabama in 1857. The court documents show his name as Evander and the Frank could have been Frances. I have never been able to locate his family except for a woman who possibly could be his mother, Sarah E. Lash born in TN. He was associated with Moravians who moved from NC to AL and was apprenticed to one of them--John Ritter Stutts. I know some of the Lashes from NC also went to Indiana, Ohio and other states in that area. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks
