Hi, I have a Peter Lash (b. 1753, d. ?) who married a Margaret (last name unknown, b. 1757) and according to our info., they came to the U.S. from the Netherlands in 1773.
They appear to have had 5 children:
Joseph (1779-1857, died in Westmoreland Co., PA), David (~1780-1815), Thomas (~1743-1857, died in Mt. Pleasant, IA), and 2 daughters whose names we don't have (one born in abt. 1785 who may have died in Posey Co., Indiana). David Lash was killed in the Battle of New Orleans, 1815, Chalmette, Lousiana.
Do these names & time frames sound familiar? Hopefully they do and we can help each other with some info.!
If so, anyone, PLEASE let me know - we've been stuck on who Peter & Margaret's parents are for years!
Thank you!
