The farthest back LASON I have is Joseph Lason born 20 Oct 1763 in Dutchess Co, NY. He died 3 Jan 1836 in Duanesburg, Schnectady Co, NY.He had 10 children by 2 different wives. My line comes from his first marriage to a Nancy Unknown, daughter Nancy Ann Lason married John Sanford Rowley who was born in Duanesburg, NY. Nancy was born in Dutchess Co, NY the daughter of Dutch parents as it is written in the book, "Col Bills Tales by Leora Wilson Drake, a family member and Town of Canisteo Historian for many years. So I guess the Lason's were Dutch.Nancy Ann was blue eyed and blonde and carried her beauty to old age.If you want the rest of the family e-mail me.
