Peter Nikoli Lassen was a sea captian whom took his wife's last name as his own so the story goes. They had 13 children and when ever they ate a meal, they all had to stand around the table because there were so many of them... so I am told. Lassen is the only family in Denmark to recieve 2 Victoria Crosses.

NOW most of my Lassens came from Denmark/germany (depending who won what war between the two countries) any how, My Lassen's for the most part settled in Chicago, Ill, and then some disperced from there... Calif.
My problem is that I have a tree that someone in the family did , but there are no spouse names and there are no dates.
I have found some info, and so some of the names connected to my tree are .... Glassman, Meech, Wier/Wierzbowski,O'Brill, Rix, and Arrienz.

Contact me if you need more info .
