Hi Brenda,
I wanted to make a minor clarification that may help you for narrowing down your search.Islington and Holborn are boroughs within the County of London (essentially London is chopped up into numerous chunks called boroughs).Holborn is actually a Metropolitan borough, a subdivision of the Greater London borough of Camden.

I'm not sure I can help you directly, but I am researching Lasts of London (believed to have originated in Suffolk) during the same time period.My Last family appears to have moved around London quite a bit, with ties to Battersea, Wandsworth, St Marylebone, and eventually settled in Dagenham.I've checked my records, and don't see an "N. Last" in my group, but if I find anything that may be of use to you, I'd be happy to pass it along.
