This was in the Hunterdon County Democrat the week of June 2, 2005: Dorothy Latourette BANGOR, Maine -- Dorothy M. Latourette died Friday, May 27, 2005 at Bangor Convalescent Center. She was 84. Born in Whitehouse to John and Ethel Catlin Latourette, she lived in Whitehouse most of her life before moving to Maine 14 years ago. Although she was born with cerebral palsy, Ms. Latourette's strength, determination and persistence allowed her to live a full and happy life. She always had a positive outlook and never complained about her illness. Ms. Latourette sold newspapers for 35 years at the Whitehouse train station and never missed a day. She helped raise her youngest brother after their father died. She was a lifelong member of Rockaway Reformed Church in Whitehouse Station. Her sister, Betty Lou Latourette, and her brothers, Conrad P. and John R., died earlier. Surviving is a brother, Ronald E. Latourette. The funeral was held yesterday at the church. Interment was in Rural Hill Cemetery, Whitehouse, under the direction of Kearns Funeral Home, Whitehouse. Notify Administrator about this message?
