Dear cousin John. I want to personally thank you for all the hard work you have applied to finding out the many truths in regards to our ancestors in Osse, including the exact location in Southern France. I had the incorrect location also, probably due to the mis-conceptions in the old books as well, and my only trip to that part of the world, a wonderful experience, led me also to the incorrect Osse at first. Thanks for your research skills in enlightening Me, and all your fellow cousins to the truth. I do have one question however, in regards to the possible lineage of our Jean? I gather that our Jean was probably the son of David. Who was David's father? Was it Pierre? I would tend to believe that Gassiot was David's grandfather? Do you know the exact lineage going back to the first Pierre? Again thanks for your magnificent work, you will go down as the greatest of researchers in regards to this famous American, and French family. Sincerely, John La Coste.
