Good job Dr. La Tourette,

I was contacted by a distant cousin of my Zeluff line this last week in regards to the "The Zelif Name in History" by Ancestry.com and I suggested that she not waste any of her money on it. Ancestry.com is doing a great disservice in producing these misleading books. It is almost like a bait and switch, you get the book and then realize that you can "only" get additional information by joining Ancestry.com. There will be hundreds, if not thousands, of people who will get these books and do no further research and thus many will go on to have an incorrect view of their family history. Many of these book will also be handed down in families, as we know with the Lyman La Tourette book incorrect information will refuse to die even in the face of evidence.
