I descend from Belinda Browning who married John C. Smith on November 27, 1814.I didn't know that she was sometimes known as Melinda or Relinda.I have the Smith family in the 1850 census, but they are not listed in the 1860 census in Jackson County, GA.Do you know where they went?Who are Solomon and his siblings parents?I only know the names of John and Belinda's children that were listed in the 1850 census that you have also.My direct line is through their son, John C. Smith that married Sarah Samples. They had 5 daughters:Martha Eva (1852), Mary E. (1855), Emma E. (1857), Sarah A. (1860) and Ada Lee (1863).They were living in Dalton, Whitfield County, GA in the 1860 census.Their last daughter, Ada Lee, was born in Tennessee. If Belinda Browning was born in 1800, she would have only been 14 when she married John C. Smith. Thanks for any help you can give me.
